Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and paradigm shifts pre-2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI ethics
- Produce trend briefings for C-suite on emerging risks and opportunities in climate resilience and digital sovereignty
- Facilitate cross-disciplinary workshops with MIT, Stanford, and WHO think tanks
- Author white papers on societal implications of metaverse economics and neuro-interfaces
- Design speculative scenarios for human-AI symbiosis and post-scarcity economies
- Mentor junior futurists in predictive modeling and strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field with 10+ years applied foresight experience
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (portfolio required)
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and causal layered analysis
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on technological singularity or climate adaptation
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight from APF or WFS
- Fluency in at least two future-relevant languages (Mandarin, Arabic, or Swahili preferred)
- Portfolio showcasing 2020-2025 trend predictions with >80% accuracy
