Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning, impact assessments, and roadmapping
- Design and facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops with executive stakeholders and industry thought leaders
- Produce high-impact strategic reports and presentations translating complex futures into actionable business strategies
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and academic partners for continuous insight generation
- Champion emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their strategic implications for 2026 market positioning
- Drive organizational change management initiatives preparing the company for 2026 operational realities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's/PhD) in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in scenario development, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex futures into executive-level insights
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal/economic implications
- Track record of developing and implementing 5-10 year strategic frameworks
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFM, APF) strongly preferred
