Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives mapping 3-5 year technological convergence points
- Develop and implement ethical governance frameworks for AGI development
- Coordinate with global research teams to synthesize breakthrough discoveries
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and board members for strategic decision-making
- Author white papers published in Nature Futures and IEEE journals
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures thinking methodologies
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants through visionary proposal development
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Cognitive Science, or related field with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier technology journals
- Expertise in exponential technology forecasting (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and alignment research
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level presentations
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python preferred)
