As a key architect of our 2026 vision, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, research pioneers, and global thought leaders. Your insights will directly influence product development, market positioning, and long-term sustainability initiatives across quantum computing, biotech, and AI ethics.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework using scenario planning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Produce annual 'Horizon Scan' reports synthesizing global innovation signals from 15+ industries
- Partner with R&D to prototype 2026-relevant solutions in our Innovation Labs
- Represent Horizon Labs at global futurist forums and industry summits
- Mentor junior futurists and build the organization's foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and technology roadmapping
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI governance
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurist or innovation journals
