Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neural interfaces
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, data scientists, and ethicists to prototype next-gen solutions
- Conduct horizon-scanning research identifying paradigm shifts in AI governance, space colonization, and climate resilience
- Design ethical frameworks for emerging technologies ensuring human-centric development
- Present findings to C-suite executives and global policy influencers at our annual Future Summit
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Secure patents and publish in journals like Nature Futures and IEEE Technology & Society
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent transdisciplinary field (Master's with 10+ years experience)
- Proven track record in forecasting technological disruptions with 90%+ accuracy
- Expertise in quantum computing, synthetic biology, or advanced neural networks
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, or equivalent)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on strategic foresight and innovation strategy
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi Method)
- Deep understanding of global sustainability frameworks (UN SDGs, Paris Agreement)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
