Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic foresight frameworks to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Author high-impact thought leadership reports and whitepapers on AI ethics, quantum computing applications, and sustainable tech
- Design and facilitate executive workshops on scenario planning and risk mitigation for emerging technology adoption
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academic partners, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex future trends into actionable business strategies for Fortune 500 clients
- Oversee the 2026 Initiative's $50M innovation budget and vendor ecosystem
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or technology consulting with proven C-suite impact
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or Business Innovation (PhD/MSc preferred)
- Expertise in emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, advanced AI, and climate tech
- Demonstrated success in publishing peer-reviewed futurist research or industry-defining frameworks
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies: Delphi, Horizon Scanning, and Systems Dynamics modeling
- Exceptional executive communication skills with 100+ keynote presentations at global tech forums
- Fluency in strategic scenario planning tools (e.g., Kumu.io, Foresight Platform)
