Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the 2026 technology foresight framework, identifying paradigm-shifting innovations across AI, biotech, and renewable energy sectors
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives, modeling future market disruptions and competitive landscapes
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and startups specializing in emerging technologies
- Produce trend reports and white papers that guide R&D investment decisions for $2B+ portfolio
- Design ethical governance frameworks for next-generation technologies including AGI and neural interfaces
- Mentor cross-functional teams in futures thinking methodologies and innovation strategy
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global tech summits and policy forums shaping 2026 regulatory landscapes
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or Innovation Management with 10+ years applied experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies with measurable market impact
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, synthetic biology, quantum computing, or climate tech
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures journals or industry white papers
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on technology disruption strategy
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies including Delphi, horizon scanning, and system dynamics modeling
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex future scenarios to executive stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating successful prediction of major tech trends (2018-2023)
