Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology foresight frameworks through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-state solutions
- Produce strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on emerging tech implications (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for cutting-edge research
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future-ready innovation culture
- Present findings to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and data-driven narratives
- Contribute to product roadmaps by identifying 2026 market readiness windows
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging tech strategy
- Proven track record of developing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Strong data visualization and storytelling skills (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies (STEEP, Delphi)
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (papers, patents, or keynotes)
- Proficiency in strategic innovation frameworks (Jobs-to-be-Done, Value Proposition Design)
