Responsibilities
- Lead the research and development of cutting-edge AI models, specifically focusing on Long-term Contextual Understanding and Generative capabilities.
- Design and optimize neural architectures to improve inference speed and reduce computational costs for production environments.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to translate theoretical research into scalable, deployable software solutions.
- Conduct rigorous experimentation and validation to iterate on model performance, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Mentor junior researchers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the AI lab.
- Stay abreast of the latest academic and industrial advancements in the AI field to drive the strategic vision for 2026.
- Document technical findings, methodologies, and results to contribute to open-source communities and internal knowledge bases.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning, deep learning, or artificial intelligence research.
- Expert proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Proven track record of publishing research papers in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR) or delivering high-impact production models.
- Strong understanding of NLP, transformer models, and RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback).
- Experience with distributed computing systems (e.g., Kubernetes, Ray) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
