Responsibilities
- Architect & Build: Design and deploy scalable AI infrastructure, focusing on LLM fine-tuning and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines.
- Optimization: Lead efforts in model inference optimization to ensure real-time performance in production environments.
- Research: Stay ahead of 2026 trends by conducting research on emerging AI paradigms, including multi-modal models and self-correcting agents.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and data scientists to translate complex technical requirements into robust engineering solutions.
- Mentorship: Guide a team of junior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Compliance: Ensure all AI deployments adhere to the highest ethical standards and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years specifically focused on Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow, and experience with distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Ray, Kubernetes).
- Modeling: Deep understanding of Transformer architectures, NLP, and Generative AI models.
- Education: MS or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to troubleshoot complex system bottlenecks and scale models to production.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
