Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and MFA solutions across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Lead the integration of biometric authentication protocols and passwordless access strategies.
- Monitor and analyze authentication logs to detect and mitigate unauthorized access attempts in real-time.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to embed security best practices into CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing focused on identity and access management (IAM).
- Develop and maintain documentation for authentication architecture and incident response procedures.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, specifically focusing on 2FA, MFA, and IAM.
- Deep technical knowledge of WebAuthn, FIDO2, SAML, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0 protocols.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automating authentication workflows.
- Experience with major 2FA providers including Okta, Duo Security, or Azure AD B2C.
- Strong understanding of Zero Trust architecture principles.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
