In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our proprietary 2D interaction layer, ensuring our web and mobile applications deliver fluid, intuitive, and visually stunning experiences. You will work closely with product managers, UX researchers, and frontend developers to turn complex requirements into elegant, performant code.
Responsibilities
- Architect 2D Rendering Solutions: Design and implement scalable rendering engines using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL to handle complex 2D graphics and animations.
- Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in 2D rendering pipelines and optimize for 60fps performance across a variety of devices and browsers.
- Interactive Tool Development: Build interactive 2D tools, diagrams, and visualizations that require precise mathematical calculations and user input handling.
- Design System Integration: Translate design specifications into pixel-perfect 2D components that adhere to our strict accessibility and responsive design standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with UX/UI designers to prototype interactions and with backend teams to integrate 2D visual data.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development with a specific focus on 2D graphics and animation.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of the HTML5 Canvas API, SVG manipulation, and modern CSS/JavaScript (ES6+).
- Math & Physics: Strong background in 2D mathematics, vector math, and physics simulation concepts.
- Tools: Proficient in using tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and version control systems (Git).
- Problem Solving: Ability to debug complex rendering issues and optimize performance in real-time environments.
