Responsibilities
- Engine Development: Architect and maintain high-performance 2D/3D rendering engines using WebGL, Three.js, and WebGL2.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve bottlenecks in rendering pipelines to ensure silky smooth 60fps performance across all devices.
- Shader Programming: Write complex GLSL shaders and create custom material systems to achieve photorealistic or stylized visual effects.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with UX/UI designers and product managers to translate creative concepts into pixel-perfect, interactive code.
- Mentorship: Guide junior developers, conduct technical code reviews, and foster a culture of technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Fine Arts, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in 2D/3D graphics programming.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern web standards. Deep knowledge of WebGL, Three.js, or Pixi.js is essential.
- Mathematics: Strong understanding of linear algebra, vector math, and geometry for shader work.
- Tools: Experience with version control (Git), build tools, and agile development methodologies.
