Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Assist customers in locating products, explaining features, and answering questions to drive sales.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, processing transactions, and handling returns efficiently.
- Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and stocked with merchandise to maintain a professional appearance.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily and monthly sales targets and operational goals.
- Provide feedback on product trends and inventory needs to store management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
