Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Product knowledge: Learn and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our products to effectively answer customer inquiries and make recommendations.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, handling transactions, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Merchandise the sales floor to maintain visual standards, ensure product availability, and create an inviting store atmosphere.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and loss prevention.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve daily and monthly sales targets and store goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous retail or sales experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs comfortably.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
