Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service during overnight hours, assisting with product inquiries and purchases
- Execute daily sales targets through product demonstrations and upselling techniques
- Manage inventory counts, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising overnight
- Operate POS systems, process transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
- Ensure store security and safety protocols are followed during closing/opening procedures
- Collaborate with overnight staff to maintain clean, organized store environments
- Participate in product knowledge training to stay updated on inventory and promotions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year retail or customer service experience
- Availability to work flexible overnight shifts (typically 10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage customers in low-traffic periods
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic inventory management software
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
- Valid California driver's license (for potential inventory runs)
