Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with inquiries and product selections in a friendly, professional manner.
- Drive sales performance by actively promoting products, explaining features, and closing transactions to meet daily and monthly sales targets.
- Maintain a pristine store environment, including organizing merchandise, cleaning displays, and ensuring stock levels are adequately replenished.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit, and gift cards with strict adherence to security protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and support visual merchandising initiatives.
- Resolve customer concerns and complaints promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Learn and demonstrate in-depth product knowledge to effectively guide customers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or sales experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with a diverse customer base.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating discounts accurately.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the sales floor for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A proactive attitude with a focus on teamwork and personal accountability.
