Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and answering their inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist customers in finding products that meet their needs, offering expert advice on product features and benefits.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and visually appealing by restocking merchandise and straightening displays.
- Uphold company policies and procedures regarding loss prevention and cash handling.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and store goals.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock counts and merchandise transfers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact positively with a diverse clientele.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs with or without assistance.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency with computers and POS systems is a plus.
