Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers with a professional and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products or services to meet those needs.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Organize and maintain store displays to ensure a clean, inviting, and organized shopping environment.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve daily and weekly sales targets and quotas.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and performing regular stock counts.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or sales experience is preferred but not mandatory; we provide on-the-job training.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic math skills and accuracy in handling cash and credit transactions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
