Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers immediately upon entry to the store, providing a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
- Assist customers in locating products, answering questions, and explaining product features and benefits to drive sales.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently, processing transactions accurately and handling returns or exchanges.
- Uphold high standards of visual merchandising and store cleanliness to ensure the brand image is always presented perfectly.
- Build lasting relationships with customers through active listening and follow-up communication.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
- Stay informed about current promotions, inventory levels, and product trends to effectively upsell products.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers.
- Proven track record of providing excellent customer service and exceeding sales expectations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting boxes (up to 25 lbs).
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer operations.
- A positive attitude, high energy, and a genuine desire to help others succeed.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
