Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs effectively.
- Drive sales performance by actively promoting products and up-selling based on customer needs.
- Maintain the sales floor in pristine condition, including organizing merchandise and setting up attractive displays.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Build and maintain relationships with repeat customers to foster loyalty.
- Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting regular stock counts.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve daily and weekly sales targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior retail experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and persuade a diverse customer base.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer operations.
- Reliable attendance and a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
