Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately, processing sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Learn and demonstrate extensive product knowledge to effectively answer customer inquiries and make recommendations.
- Maintain the sales floor, including organizing merchandise, cleaning displays, and ensuring the store is visually appealing.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve daily and weekly sales targets and performance goals.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves and conducting stock counts.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with patience and resolve them to the customer's satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required; we value attitude over experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact well with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to stand and move around the sales floor for extended periods.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new POS software quickly.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts as needed.
