Responsibilities
- Greet and Assist: Welcome customers with a smile, answer questions, and provide exceptional service to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
- Transaction Processing: Accurately process sales transactions, operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, and handle cash and credit payments.
- Merchandising: Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and well-stocked. Rotate merchandise and ensure product displays are appealing.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving and stocking inventory, checking expiration dates, and maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Customer Support: Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to achieve team goals and maintain a cohesive store atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; training provided.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse customers and team members.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
