Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures leveraging topological qubits and photonic interconnects
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical integration frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead implementation of quantum-resistant encryption protocols across distributed networks
- Optimize cryogenic cooling systems for 1000+ qubit coherence times
- Establish quantum security protocols aligned with NIST 2026 standards
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum machine learning pipelines
- Drive quantum hardware-software co-design for pharmaceutical simulation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record in cryogenic system design below 10mK
- Deep understanding of quantum networking protocols (QKD, entanglement distribution)
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures (HPC, FPGA)
- Published research in Nature/Science/IEEE quantum computing journals
