Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end quantum computing infrastructure including cryogenic cooling, photonic interconnects, and error correction frameworks
- Design hybrid quantum-classical system architectures for enterprise-scale deployment
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum protocols achieving 99.999% qubit stability
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists, hardware engineers, and software developers
- Translate complex quantum algorithms into scalable hardware implementations
- Establish security protocols for quantum-encrypted data transmission
- Research and implement quantum machine learning acceleration techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in quantum hardware architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface codes, color codes)
- Experience with large-scale distributed computing systems
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Certification in quantum security protocols (e.g., QKD, QKD+)
