Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Lead experiments on IBM Quantum and D-Wave systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent innovations
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum error correction
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams for hybrid quantum-classical solutions
- Present findings at quantum computing summits (Q2C, IEEE)
- Contribute to our 2026 roadmap for fault-tolerant quantum computing
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum journals
- Expertise in quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Strong background in linear algebra and computational complexity
- Certification in quantum hardware (IBM Q Experience required)
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters
- Proven ability to secure competitive research funding
