Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical 2026 use cases
- Lead experimental validation on quantum hardware simulators
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Publish research in Nature Physics/Quantum journals
- Develop quantum-resistant cryptography protocols
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming
- Secure NSF and DARPA research grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# frameworks
- Published work in quantum algorithms or error correction
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement principles
- Experience with quantum hardware calibration
- Strong Python/C++ programming skills
- Clearance for government research projects (preferred)
