Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant encryption protocols
- Collaborate with AI researchers to hybridize quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Architect scalable quantum systems with error correction for commercial deployment
- Secure and manage $5M+ in research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum computing frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Experience securing government research grants preferred
- Patent portfolio in quantum technologies highly desirable
