Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for 2026-era applications
- Lead experimental validation of qubit stability and error correction protocols
- Develop novel quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Secure multi-million dollar grants from NSF and DARPA initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum hardware control languages
- Demonstrated success in securing government or corporate research funding
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and variational algorithms
- Strong background in cryogenic systems and microwave engineering
