Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography
- Develop novel quantum error correction methodologies
- Lead qubit coherence experiments at millikelvin temperatures
- Model quantum systems using advanced computational frameworks
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams on scalable quantum processors
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum theory principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information
- 3+ years quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Expertise in quantum error correction protocols
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience with dilution refrigeration systems
- Knowledge of NISQ-era constraints and mitigation strategies
