Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes at cryogenic temperatures
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate theoretical models into deployable solutions
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional teams on quantum computing principles
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with quantum hardware providers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant architectures
- Expertise in quantum simulation frameworks and high-performance computing
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and statistical mechanics
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch) for hybrid quantum-classical models
- Ability to secure US government clearance (required for certain projects)
