Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Simulate quantum systems using IBM Q and Rigetti platforms
- Lead error mitigation strategies for NISQ devices
- Collaborate with AI teams on hybrid quantum-classical models
- Publish 2+ peer-reviewed papers annually
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum fundamentals
- Participate in patent development for quantum IP
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Publication record in quantum information science
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with superconducting or photonic qubits
- Ability to secure federal research grants preferred
