Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Conduct cutting-edge research in quantum coherence and qubit stability
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge theoretical models with physical implementations
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present findings at international quantum conferences
- Develop quantum software SDKs for enterprise clients
- Secure intellectual property through patent filings
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantum field with 3+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and topological quantum computing
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or photonic quantum processors
- Strong Python/C++ skills with high-performance computing optimization
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts for technical and non-technical stakeholders
