Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant cybersecurity protocols
- Author peer-reviewed research publications and patents in quantum computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype and test quantum processors
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks for high-performance computing environments
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to technical roadmap strategy
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grant applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research with published papers
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Demonstrated experience with quantum error correction techniques
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
