Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithm experiments on 100+ qubit systems
- Develop novel error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams to commercialize quantum applications in finance and healthcare
- Author breakthrough research papers for Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Secure $2M+ in government grants for quantum supremacy initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Patent at least 3 quantum computing innovations annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2018-2025 graduates)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical models to practical applications
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum error mitigation
- Track record of securing federal research grants
