Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-corrected quantum processors with 100+ qubit stability
- Collaborate on hybrid quantum-classical ML frameworks
- Lead open-source quantum software initiatives
- Secure $5M+ in government/industry research grants
- Mentor postdocs and publish high-impact research
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years quantum computing research with peer-reviewed publications
- Expertise in Qiskit/Cirq and quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes
- Experience with superconducting/photonic quantum hardware
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Track record of translating research to commercial applications
