Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems and neural networks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop error correction protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research in leading journals and present at IEEE/ACM conferences
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating quantum computing with AI and blockchain technologies
- Mentor junior researchers and secure federal grants through NSF/NIH proposals
- Develop quantum-safe cryptographic frameworks for enterprise applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience considered)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Experience with quantum simulators (IBM Quantum Experience, Rigetti Forest)
- Strong background in linear algebra and computational complexity theory
