Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications in finance and healthcare
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications and secure NSF/NIH grants for 2026 research initiatives
- Optimize quantum circuits for superconducting and photonic hardware architectures
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory and computational complexity
- Develop roadmaps for quantum advantage in machine learning workflows
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum error correction or entanglement
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Expertise in tensor network simulations for quantum many-body systems
- Track record of securing $500k+ in quantum research funding
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerance architectures
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration protocols
