Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum circuits using superconducting qubits
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with pharmaceutical partners on quantum-assisted drug discovery
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Secure research grants from DARPA and NSF quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum gate model programming
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Publication record in quantum error correction or algorithm design
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience with cryogenic control systems and microwave engineering
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental blueprints
