Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead cross-functional teams to translate theoretical models into scalable quantum circuits
- Develop error mitigation strategies for noisy intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) devices
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure research grants from DARPA, NSF, and private foundations
- Mentor PhD researchers and establish industry partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in high-performance computing and parallelization techniques
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong Python/C++ skills with experience in scientific computing libraries
