Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, logistics, and AI
- Lead collaborative research projects with MIT, Stanford, and IBM quantum teams
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, Quantum) and present at global conferences
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Mentor PhD researchers and oversee quantum lab operations in our downtown facility
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulators
- Demonstrated success in securing government or corporate research funding
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Strong track record of interdisciplinary collaboration with engineers and data scientists
- US citizenship or permanent residency required for government contract compliance
