Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead research on quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge quantum software and physical qubit systems
- Develop quantum machine learning models for predictive analytics and AI enhancement
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present breakthroughs at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers through our Quantum Academy program
- Secure federal and private research grants for quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on quantum programming (Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum journals
- Expertise in quantum information theory and many-body systems
- Proficiency with high-performance computing frameworks (HPC, GPU acceleration)
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
