Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Develop quantum error mitigation techniques to enhance computational fidelity
- Collaborate with hardware teams to calibrate quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional projects with industry partners and academic institutions
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Published research in quantum information science or quantum algorithms
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to solve NP-hard problems
