Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography applications
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems

- Collaborate with materials science teams to engineer scalable qubit architectures
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent disclosures
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (exceptional MS candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in cryogenic engineering and quantum measurement techniques
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Demonstrated success in securing research grants or corporate partnerships
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum systems preferred
