Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor architectures
- Develop quantum software frameworks compatible with emerging quantum hardware
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation in quantum cryptography
- Secure research grants and partnerships with leading academic institutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design, quantum simulation, and quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and high-performance computing
- Published record in quantum computing or theoretical physics (minimum 5 peer-reviewed papers)
- Demonstrated experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Ability to secure research funding and lead technical teams
