Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead experimental validation on superconducting quantum processors
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to hybridize quantum-classical models
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $2M+ in NSF/DARPA research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum gate simulators (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong programming skills in Python/C++ and high-performance computing
- Experience with quantum hardware calibration protocols
- Track record of translating theoretical research to applied solutions
