Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum hardware-software integration
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier scientific journals
- Secure and manage quantum research grants from NSF and DARPA
- mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Translate theoretical models into scalable quantum applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent journals
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
