Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop error correction protocols and fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and computer scientists on quantum hardware integration
- Publish groundbreaking research in peer-reviewed journals and present at major conferences like Q2B
- Partner with government agencies (DARPA, NSF) and Fortune 500 companies on quantum security initiatives
- Drive commercialization of quantum technologies through IP development and startup incubation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design, quantum machine learning, or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and classical HPC frameworks
- Publication record in Nature/Science journals or top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Proven ability to secure competitive research grants ($500K+ preferred)
