Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors and error correction protocols
- Lead research initiatives in quantum cryptography and secure communication systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for real-world problem solving
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation workshops
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (exceptional MS candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE, QAOA) and quantum programming languages
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or related fields
