Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead research projects in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to co-design quantum systems
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Develop open-source quantum computing frameworks and tools
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Expertise in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Strong proficiency in Python and at least one low-level programming language
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Azure Quantum)
